Methodology
Where the figures come from
Every figure on Velarion Nonprofitscomes from the organization's own annual return, as published by the IRS in its public electronic filing data:
- Form 990, Part VII, Section A: officers, directors, trustees, key employees and the highest compensated employees, with the compensation reported from the organization, from related organizations, and other compensation.
- Form 990-EZ, Part IV: officers, directors, trustees and key employees, with their compensation, benefit-plan contributions and expense allowances.
- Form 990-PF, Part VIII: officers, directors, trustees and foundation managers, with the same three amounts.
Total revenue is the figure the organization reported in Part I of the same return. The sector is the organization's National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities class in the IRS Exempt Organizations Business Master File.
How the figures are shown
Amounts appear exactly as filed. Nothing is estimated, annualized or adjusted, and each amount names the return it was read from. On a Form 990, the people listed appear when their amounts add up to the total the same return reports; a return whose own figures disagree is not shown.
A return reports one tax year. An organization's page shows its most recent return, and the tax year it covers.
